Prince Michael Ngwesse Ekosso, National President of the United Socialist Democratic Party noted in his interview that the government of Cameroon has the tendency to manipulate situations whenever the citizens make demands that are legitimate. He condemned the fact that a Francophone was appointed as head of the Commission to address the concerns of the Lawyers. Prince Ekosso's point resonates with that of major stakeholders like Barrista Ntumfor Nico Hale who declined appointment into the commission.
At a time when Cameroonians in the North West and South West Regions are complaining about the invasion and gradual destruction of the Common Law system which is practiced in their part of the country, the government appoints a Francophone with little knowledge of the system to resolve the problem.
Prince Ekosso further argued that ignorance of the law is what makes some administrators to violate the laws.
